libjana-ecal-dev software package provides implementation of libjana based on evolution-data-server (dev. files), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjana-ecal-dev
libjana-ecal-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjana-ecal-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjana-ecal-dev *
You will get with libjana-ecal-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
